What makes watercolor special?
Watercolour creates transparent layers, soft transitions and natural variations in colour. Those differences are part of a painting made by hand, rather than a digital image.

I paint your portrait in watercolour, using soft colours and light lines. Your photo is my reference for a painting in my own style, not a photorealistic copy.

A personal gift
Watercolor portraits are a good choice when the image should feel warm, emotional and colorful. They work well as gifts for family, couples and special memories.
Photo quality and expression
The clearer the reference photos are, the better I can transfer the gaze and atmosphere into the artwork. A good photo does not have to be professional, but the face and light should be clear.
Frequently asked questions
Is every watercolor portrait unique?
Yes. Colours, washes and brush marks vary from one painting to the next, making each portrait an original.
Can I order several people or pets in watercolor?
Yes. Watercolor portraits are available for 1 to 5 people or pets. Dogs, cats and horses count as a person; from 3 subjects the portrait is created in A3.
How should I hang a watercolor portrait?
Watercolor artwork should not be exposed to constant direct sunlight. A bright place without strong direct sun is ideal.
