Why choose a pencil portrait?
Pencil brings out a face through lines, shading and small details. Its classic, understated look works well for a personal gift or family portrait.

I draw your portrait in pencil, paying attention to the eyes, expression, light and shadow. Your photo guides a drawing in my own style, rather than a photorealistic copy.
A personal reference becomes a framed original
I use your photo as a reference to draw or paint a portrait in my own style, not a photorealistic copy. Your finished original arrives framed with a mount.

The photos are used as a reference, but the finished portrait remains an artistic interpretation. Small differences in line, expression and shading are part of the handmade character.
